I gave serious consideration to a projector, but one that supports true HD is $$$$$. I was referring to rear projection TVs which suffer from the same thing the projector does: If it's not dark in the room, the picture looks washed out. Don't get me wrong, an LCD projector would be awesome for watching movies, I really like the idea of filling up a whole wall with the picture, but I watch a shitload of TV while doing banking, playing with the chinchillas, etc. etc, when I need the lights on too. Some day when I have a house, I would like to have a movie room. By that time, some freakin' sweet projectors ought to be available for reasonable prices.
