: I take it then that you do not have a copy of Toast? It supports CD-TEXT and
: multiple sessions.
Nope, no Toast for me. I got Dragon burn free with a DVD burner. I'm pretty sure it did/does all the stuff whatever version of Toast was available at the time did. The problem with Toast, Dragon Burn and any 3rd party software in general is that Apple won't let the program use any quicktime calls that involve DRM and purchased music. Probably b/c record companies are greedy assholes, but nevertheless if you want to burn purchased music, it has to go through iTunes. I like to backup whole album purchases by burning it as an audio CD to a printable CD-R and add the CD-TEXT and a second session with the AAC files.
: Anyhow, hadn't noticed this in iTunes, a welcome addition. Thanks for the
: heads-up!
Yeah, i came across it in a weird way. iTunes kept giving me an error about not being able to find my preferred burner and was it OK to use such and such a drive (which is my internal burner and "preferred"). So I was looking at my burning preferences when I saw that CD-TEXT option.
