Yeah, but the difference between PS2/DVD and PS3/BD is that DVD players had been out for a zillion years (I had my first one for several years prior to the release of the PS2). HD-DVD and BD have been out less than a year, and most cost upwards of $1000. Furthermore according to sales figures, virtually no one is buying them. That makes the PS3 a huge push for BD.
