: I don't know if you heard/read it yet, but Trent is already working on a new
: album. It is apparently in the mixing stage right now. That's pretty
: quick. I'm used to a 4-5 year wait between NIN albums.
Actually, he ha already written and recorded enough material for three albums when he wrote "With Teeth". He chose what he felt best worked together as a lead-in for his future work (And that's what's got me excited! The psychadelic stuff at the end of the album was FANTASTIC! ESPECIALLY LIVE!!!) and he is planning on releasing far more frequently from here out now that the he's sober and somewhat coherent. ;)
Have you seen the video trailer for the new DVDS yet? Man, it will EASILY tio "And all that could have been" by leaps and fucking bounds... Besiude you in time, I've linked to it below. Check it out. You will NOT be dissapointed, I'm sure! (It involves footage from all of his tours INCLUDING here in SEATTLE! Woo-Hoo!)
To quote Trent himself:
"Is it possible I am actually finished writing and recording a new nine inch nails record? Apparently so. We begin mixing in January! Juggling fifteen all-new tracks around. Testing sequences. No leftovers from "with teeth". Highly conceptual. Quite noisy. Fucking cool."
Speaking of juggling tracks. Crosis and I will be juggling tracks (I hope) when I come up to AK for a visit in a week here. Damn, I wish I could bring my guitar but he doesn't use MOTU's digital performer (My fav) anyways so oh well. lol ;)
