Man, I love Pretty Hate Machine, but I like Broken even more and The Downward Spiral is up there as well. The Fragile is good, but as with most double disc albums, it could have been one seriously kick-as disc. With Teeth was just a disappointment to me at first because of that "12 punches" description and because the first release I heard was "The Line Begins to Blur" which is fucking awesome and is the best track on that album IMO. But I do like most of that album now. If the new one in April is more of the same, I'll be happy, but I'd like to see him go back a bit more towards Broken and TDS.
: Really? For me, it was the first album since Pretty Hate Machine that I was
: able to get into and enjoy from my very first listen. Broken, Downward
: Spiral, The Fragile and all of the in-between albums, comps and remies
: took a while to grow on me but the first and the latest instantly held
: emotional resonance with me... Hey, it works different for eveybody I
: suppose. ;) I just really love Beside you in time, Every day is exactly
: the same, the line begins to blur (Man, that was AMAZING live! The
: multimedia presentation he put up was brilliant and pretty damned
: powerful. Think of the Hurt video) and Right where it belongs. With Beside
: you and Right where, he's experimenting with a much more melodic and
: psychedelic feel that I think REALLY works well for him. I hope that he
: gives us more in that vein! Also, I really am glad you liked the video
: clips I was able to send you. Man, it was a GREAT show and I can't wait
: until he comes back!
