Huh, That's cool. I doubt I'd have any problems with anything he'd release. Have you heard some of the tracks he's recently written like "You're not so pretty now" or "Non-entity"? Great stuff. He performed non-entity for MTV's katrina benefit seeing as he spent more than a decade living down there before recently moving out to california, cleaning himself up and turning into the monster he's become./ (Damn, he's HUGE now!!!). Also when he played here in Seattle he did YNSPN and it was a damned good track although completely unlike anything i've ever ehard from him. It was more pure Rockl & Roll than Industrial and while good, was a somewhat suprising departure from his normal styles...
Downward Spiral is great but it took a WHILE to grow on me. At first, I only was able to get into like 3 or 4 of the tracks on the album whereas on With Teeth I was able to dig every song from the first listen and at worst case, second listen. I suppose that just a matter of preference though and no worries. You're into Trent's stuff and that's cool with me even if you do like different tracks or prefer different albuyms. No worries, it's ALL great in my opinion (save for one or two tracks/EP's/Remixes, etc...). :)
Hey, I'll have to let you know when he releases his next tour update info. If he's playing here in Seattle, maybe you can come out for a HELL of a show! I couldn't make it to the show at the Gorge last year but from what I've heard, it was the best of the entire tour and he flew all the way up mid-tour from Florida to perform there because of the natural acoustics and quality of equipment!
