The AppleTV is lame. A 40GB hard drive? WTF? That may be useful to people who get all their movies and music from the iTunes Store, but I buy my stuff on disc and rip it uncompressed. My music hard drive is 120GB, and I'm planning on getting a 500GB or maybe 750GB drive for ripping my DVD collection. And when HD-DVD or Blue-Gay takes over the market, I'll probably need a 5TB RAID for that. Hooking a Mac straight into an HDTV and sound system is the way to go for a PC-based theatre.
