I hadn't heard about that but it sounds right in line with what I've been able to piece together concerning the current album overall. Trent is a pretty dramatic person in the first place and if "Survivalism" is any indication of his thoughts overall then this totally was a brilliant marketing move. Good for him, it's definitely generating a lot of buzz but unfortunately it's not doing it in the main media's light.
It reminds me of the Broken Video he and Clouser (I think it was Charlie Clouser but I could be getting confused with Alan Moulder or flood or someone else) did where it was basically just a fake snuff film that was put out through underground sources and lives in near infamy at this point. Anyhow, it's cool that he's going to such lengths to promote his work and I'm really glad to see him taking up such an active spot with the Art is Resistance movement.
