Finally, new iMacs

I've been waiting for flippin' ever for this update. I wanted (pretty much needed) one for like the last year, but I didn't want to go with a 1st generation one, since I've been burned by 1st gen products in the past. I ordered the high end. That ought to last me a good long time. My 1.4 GHz GigE powermac has been trusty and reliable, but it is just too damn slow for anything but email and web browsing. Sometimes too slow for that even.
Totally unrelated, I ran the Big Sur Marathon yesterday and qualified for Boston next year. So, new computer and one more running goal accomplished. Pretty good weekend!
