First the legal mumbo jumbo. I like to copy my own, actually purchased CDs for use in my car. That way I can abuse the shit out of it and I don't care. Seriously, I don't "steal" music. I'm not trying to start a thread on that crap.
What I would like to know is: what do you guys use to copy a CD?
Let me eliminate a few possibilities:
1) ripping in iTunes, then burning audio CD. Too many steps. Plus TM will back up shit all the time and I don't want it backing up stuff I'm not gonna keep and is just temporary to make the copy
2) Dragon burn. This is what I was using forever. Turns out it is slow as shit in Leopard on an Intel machine.
3)SimplyBurn. Turd. Didn't work at all.
I'd like it if the program would also allow multiple sessions - if I buy an album off iTS, I burn an audio CD and then add a data session with the AAC files as backup. CD Text would also be nice.
I'm not opposed to paying, but freeware/shareware are nice too. I'm thinking Roxio Toast but never used it before.
